A Survey on Filiation of Syphylis

OBJECTIVE: in this report we aimed to determine the effect of filiation on the increase of syphilis.
STUDY DESING: 22 syphilis cases who applied to the Dermatology Clinic of Þ.E.H in 7 months duration were cross-examined from the view point of filiation.
RESULTS: The infetion origin of the 22 cases are 41 percent (9 cases) Turkish 32 (7) cases Roman and 27 percent (6) cases Russian prnstitutes.
CONCLUSIONS: Roman and Russian prosteties were seen as source of the increase in syphilis in the recent
times.

Sifilizde Zinciri (Filyasyon Araþtýrmasý)

AMAÇ: Bu çalýþmada; son zamanlarda ülkemizde gözlenen artýþ hakkýnda fikir verebilecek hastalýk bulaþma zincirinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmýþtýr.
MATERYAL METOD: 7 aylýk bir sürede Þ.E.H. Deri ve Zührevi Hastalýklar Kliniði’ne baþvuran 22 olgu bulaþma öyküsü açýsýndan sorgulandý.
BULGULAR: Saptanan bulaþma kaynaklarý %41 (9olgu) Türk kökenli hayat kadýnýyken %32’si (7 olgu) Romen, %27’sinin (6) Rus kökenli olduðu tesbit edildi.
SONUÇ: Son 2 yýlda sifilizde görülen artýþta Romen ve Rus hayat kadýnlarý kaynak gibi görünmektedir.
