Adenomyomas are rare in the gastrointestinal system. They are more commonly seen in the stomach, than in the duodenum. Ileal adenomyomas are much less common. These nodular, benign lesions are composed of exocrin ducts and hypertrophic smooth muscle bundles. In this study, an ileal adenomyoma, causing intusseption, in a 5 month old boy is described. Ileal adenomyomas may lead to obstruction in children and may be confused with adenocarcinoma in old patients. So these rare tumors should be considered in differential diagnosis of such clinic presentations.
