Objective: The aim of this study is to compare prognostic parameters of breast cancer.
Study Design: In this study 73 patients, with age variation between 35 - 33 years, to whom modified radical mastectomy was applied were examined. Pathologic diagnosis of these patients was invasive ductal carcinoma. The tumor size, status of axillary nodes, pericapsular invasion, perineural invasion and vascular I lymphatic invasion were reexamined. In statistical analysis of the data, Kruskal Wallis and Mann Whitney u tests were used.
Results and Conclusion: There was significant statistical relation between tumor size and metastasis of axillary lymph nodes, the number of metastatic axillary lymph nodes and pericapsular invasion, perineural invasion and lymphatic invasion.
