Fibrolamellar type hepatocellular carcinoma is a rare malignant tumor that has distinctive clinical, radiological, histological and prognostic features in comparison to conventional hepatocellular carcinoma. In our case report, we describe a 28 year old male who has no history of chirrhosis. In a routine laboratory examination, liver enzymes were found abnormal and ultrasonographic examination revealed a huge liver mass. Magnetic resonance imaging demonstrated typical features of these tumors which include large lobulated mass, early heterogenous dense enhancement, santral scar tissue and extrahepatic malignant lymph nodes. Following core biopsy, histopathologic examination confirmed the diagnosis. The patient was regarded as unresectable due to extrahepatic disease and underwent to chemotherapy.
