8 - Mature cystic teratoma originating from right ovary: Typical radiological findings

Mature cystic teratomas are benign tumours composed of ectodermal mesodermal, and endodermal elements. They occupy %IO-25 of all ovarian neoplasms. Mostly they occur in young and reproductive women between the age of 20-40. In symptomathic patients, pelvic pressure, abdominal pain and abdominal mass can be seen. Here we report a case of a mature cystic teratoma originating from right ovary and its typical radiological findings and discussed in the view of the literature.
