11 - Lichen Planus Pemphigoides: A Case Report

Lichen planus pemphigoides, is a rare dermatosis characterized by bullae arising on lichen planus papules and on clinically uninvolved skin, suhepidermal bullae in histopathology and linear deposits of IgG and C3 along basal membrane zone on direct immunofluorescence. We present a 40 year old woman who has lichen planus pemphigoides. In our patient, lichen planus lesions preceded bullous lesions and she had blisters in limited areas. She was successfully treated with systemic corticosteroid therapy.
