10 - CASE REPORT: Giant cell tumor of the left distal tibia

Giant, cell tumor of the bone is a benign but locally invasive lesion. It usually appears between the ages of 20 and 40 ye¬ars as an expansile, lytic tumor often adjacent, to the subc¬hondral cortex. In our case report, we have described an ex¬pansile multiloculated cystic appearance mass lesion that ca¬using cortical destruction located at the left distal tibia, by means of magnetic resonance imaging. Following biopsy, the patient was diagnosed as having giant cell tumor of the tibia.
